The collar is going to be tricky but it fits perfect:) The first sleeve is on the needles. I’ll work on them while I contemplate the collar.
A little more than three weeks until Triple Ripple Fest:) Great run this morning followed by a great (not really, tastes like cow stomach bile) breakfast.
Up the river looking at some property, 2.2 acres. Stop in for a bite to eat and this is what I here from inside while I’m sitting on the deck. “Is there a cork fee from bringing in my own tall boy?” Sweet!!
Split for the back and front. First photos the back worked to just above the armpits. Second is the front put on stitch holders waiting & the third shows my short row waist shaping. This sweater has kept me on my toes and been really fun so far. Ya, I’m a huge geek:)
Being responsible has once again gotten the best of me. Planning a few day trips for my time off but decided to fill the propane tanks for winter instead of my gas tank. Reflection lake is on my list as well as a Anderson lake day hike. Living off wheatgrass this week, trying to get my skin in healthier shape for a new tattoo. Tab was a super trooper on our run yesterday, thought she was going to cry a few times but she didn’t complain. Now we need to work on speeding up a bit to get to the 10-12 minute mile mark. Going to try and find new music for our iPods and focus. Band of Skulls and Civil Twilight are a few I want to check out. I really suck at finding new music. Worse case I just hit delete I guess. Tab’s working on “Rise” on her mandolin for Timmy’s up coming friend fest. He build a beautiful stage in his back yard and it should be a good time.
Tomatoes are not going to make it:( Bummer! Outside bed is done for the season also. Cleaning house.
Trout River is coming along. I’ve done the short row shirt shaping and the waist decrease. After a few more inches I’ll increase the waist and work on the bust shaping. I’ve never made a sweater with shaping. If it doesn’t fit I’ll give it to Tab. Adding 5 minutes to our run today and I feel ready. Packed up for a road trip and decided to take my Cowboy poncho as my only to go knitting project, that way I’ll have to come back.
